Interest Groups
Calling all Interest Groups!
We would love to have updates from your interest group to post here, so if you have any photos of your group or items you have made, why not share them with everyone. Perhaps you can also give us a paragraph of what your group is up to which we can also post on your group’s page. You can send an email with photos and stories to webmaster@chalfontsu3a.org.uk
Also, if you are a group convenor could you have a quick look at your groups page here and let us know if we need to update the details
A note from our Chair - Become a group convenor?
Group convenors are vital to the success of our u3a, co-ordinating activities of their interest groups and encouraging the involvement of group members. Without them, interest groups could not function. Many of our group convenors originally volunteered when our u3a was established over 7 years ago, and many would now appreciate new volunteers stepping forward to help with, or take over, the running of their groups.
Please consider this, whether you are a brand new u3a member or have been in the organisation for a while. If you are interested, get in touch with your group convenor or contact our group coordinator Lesley Bedford at groupcoordinator@chalfontsu3a.org.uk.
No particular expertise in the subject area is required, just a willingness to volunteer and some basic organisational and people skills. Training and support are provided.
