Trip to Windsor
Our Trip Out To Windsor
On Tuesday 10 October Dorothy (the Group Convenor) organised a trip to Windsor.
Meeting outside the Co-op most of the members who made the trip met at 9.15am. The first leg of the journey was to Slough and then a second bus dropped them off outside Windsor Castle.
The first stop was for tea and coffee, and then most went their separate ways to explore the town. Needless to say some did end the day with 'shopping' of various kinds but mainly shoes and boots!
They all met at the Daniel department store for lunch in their Brasserie.
After lunch there was time to do more walking around the town before catching the 3.30pm bus to Slough, and then on the 335 bus back to CSP for just before 5 o'clock.
The day was a great success and those who went along have thanked Dorothy for organising a very enjoyable day.
This is a short video of the trip. It runs for a little over four minutes and has music playing. Nothing brash or pop about the music. Hope those who listen enjoy both the pictures and the music.
