Bridge Group Christmas Party

The tradition of the Bridge Group Christmas Party resumed on the 21st of December 2022. With record attendance, crazy seasonal attire and a tasty lunch with festive drinks there was still time for a full session of play and prize giving including a Player of the Year award for nonagenarian Doreen Dennis

CU3A Bridge Group was delighted to celebrate the 100th Birthday of Myra Inglis, a longstanding and lively member, at its session on 20th July.

Myra was serenaded during the tea break in traditional fashion before being presented by Sue Fisher, Convenor, with a birthday card containing pages of congratulatory messages, flowers and 3 birthday cakes, 2 of which were quickly consumed by Bridge players. Myra happily took home the miniature cake, surmounted by a candled ‘100’.
