Meeting Frequency
We meet once a month on the Second Thursday of the month from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Ability Level
We welcome all levels of computing experience and will try to offer a programme of talks/discussions that will be of interest to all. We currently have an email circulation list of 80 U3A members.
Meeting Format
The Format of the meetings has developed initially with illustrated talks on specific subjects like the Internet, security, digital photography, Microsoft Office, purchasing hardware, social media, etc. We cover mainly Microsoft Windows as there is an Apple macOS specific Interest Group. We also include mobile devices if applicable to the subject matter.
We try and keep an archive of our meeting content on our pages and any member of Chalfonts u3a, regardless of whether they are members of the group, can access the Meeting Archives. Please go to the main page of the Computing Group to find the links.
We welcome new members of all standards, especially anyone willing to learn more.
