“Behind the Seams” Tour at DSI
followed by lunch at Miller & Carter Steakhouse, Mitcham
Hear how the company came to make all the Strictly costumes and they will share a few stories and hidden secrets! Starting in the showroom for an introductory talk we then walk through the premises, exploring the actual production rooms of the famous “Strictly” dresses including the “magic” crystallising section. Then it’s a visit to the stockroom featuring a kaleidoscope of sparkling fabrics in incredible colours.
Throughout the tour we will have the chance to ask questions and at the end there maybe an opportunity to try on one of the original dresses and give it a whirl and spin!
After the Studio Tour we’ll take the coach 5 minutes down the road to the Miller and Carter Pub/ restaurant for lunch where tables have been pre-booked. Select and pay for our lunch/drinks individually (at own expense).
