Garden Visits group went down to the National Trust property Woolbeding in Sussex.
On Thursday 14 July our Garden Visits group took a coach party of some of the group members down to Sussex to visit the wonderful garden at the National Trust property, Woolbeding, near to Midhurst in Sussex.
The garden is magnificent and has around 1500 acres of ground, much of it landscaped and beautifully kept by a team of NT gardeners!
Woolbeding delights at every turn, with distinctive garden rooms set against thoughtfully composed borders. Formal gardens merge into the far-reaching rural landscape of the River Rother, a perfect backdrop for the many sculptures and follies.
It's a masterpiece of colour and design, and those who went on the trip were absolutely delighted with their visit!
